The Crocker Highlands district borders the city of Piedmont and is one of the more affluent residential neighborhoods in Oakland. The school site is located in the heart of this community with several winding blocks in every direction without a major thoroughfare. This makes public transportation difficult, but also establishes a noise-free, safe environment.
