Manzanita Elementary School is located just south of the Central Reservoir in a fully residential neighborhood known as Meadow Brook. The area contains several small pocket parks and is shored up on its east side by Sausal Creek. This small waterway creates a buffer between Meadow Brook and the Upper Fruitvale/ Lower Dimond districts although these more commercial areas may be accessed easily using the E. 27th Avenue thoroughfare.
