Kaiser is a small elementary school site located in the Oakland Hills near the border with Berkeley. The area is a low-density residential community, but the school program offers open enrollment and draws students from all over Oakland. To the east, half a mile away, is the North Oakland Regional Sports Center, which has several sports fields. A little further away is additional open space consisting of Robert Sibley Volcanic Regional Reserve to the east, and the Claremont Canyon Regional Preserve a ways north of the Kaiser site.
