Neighborhood Centers is a very small site located in the Clinton neighborhood of Oakland near the southern stretch of Lake Merritt and Oakland's Chinatown community. The area is a mix of residential and commercial uses, which transitions into warehouses, train tracks, and port-related industry to the south-west. The site itself is adjacent to the Franklin Recreation Center, and is blocks away from Laney College and the future Downtown Education Complex.
