Oakland Tech is adjacent to the Temescal swimming pool, and Studio One Art Center, and lies half a mile east of CA-24 and MacArthur BART station. Even closer at-hand are a number of AC transit bus routes that run along Broadway, 40th Street, 51st Street, and College Avenue.
